What a rollercoaster at St James’ Park! Newcastle grabbed a massive 2–1 win over Fulham thanks to a last-gasp goal from our captain, Bruno Guimarães, right at the death. It wasn’t a rocket — more of a cool, composed finish — but it meant everything.
The lads really had to dig deep for this one. Fulham didn’t come just to sit back; they gave us a proper fight and even looked dangerous on the counter. But Newcastle showed heart, grit, and that never-say-die attitude we love to see.
After taking the lead, we let Fulham back into it, which made the ending all the more tense. But when Bruno slotted home that late winner, the whole place absolutely erupted. You could feel the belief flood back into the stands — that’s what this club is all about!
That’s now three Premier League wins this season, and hopefully the spark that kicks us into gear. Fulham, meanwhile, are really struggling — that’s four league defeats in a row, and they looked drained by the end.
Massive shout to the lads for fighting till the last whistle. These are the kind of scrappy wins that make all the difference come the end of the season.
Howay the lads! ⚫⚪💪
