Being a Newcastle fan since birth, I’ve seen my fair share of players who leave a lasting mark — those rare talents you never forget, the ones who make you proud to wear the black and white. And in my personal opinion, Sandro Tonali already ranks right up there among the very best.

From the moment he stepped onto the pitch, Tonali’s impact has been undeniable. The way he reads the game is nothing short of phenomenal. He always seems one step ahead — anticipating passes, breaking up play, and turning defence into attack with effortless precision.

His work ethic? Unquestionable. You can see his drive in every tackle, every sprint, every moment he’s on the ball. He’s not just a midfielder; he’s the heartbeat of the team. Tonali can pick out a pass that slices through defences, and he’s got pace to burn when driving forward.

For me, he’s got everything you’d want in a modern midfielder — intelligence, strength, technique, and a deep understanding of the game. Players like him don’t come around often, and Newcastle United are lucky to have him.

If he keeps playing like this, there’s no doubt in my mind: Sandro Tonali will go down as one of the best midfielders we’ve ever seen at St James’ Park.
